Great character motel in central Arrowtown Great character motel in central Arrowtown. 5 minute walk to cafes, shops and bars with ample free parking. Booked at short notice and was reasonably priced. We will return.

11/10 for Settlers Cottage. 11/10 for this place. Nothing like the typical motel. Units are in settler type cottage buildings but with all mod cons. Decor and furnishing was in Victorian/Edwardian period style - not my personal preferred style but superbly done and curated even the crockery was Willow pattern in keeping with the decor and the walk-in impression was "wow!" Everything spotless and excellent quality. Genial, helpful hosts and an easy short walk into the centre of Arrowtown.

Visit to Arrowtown Location - 5 mins walk to the historic part, so not a problem. Inside, completely in line with what you would expect in a place like Arrowtown - very homely but equally very well appointed. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage, even though just the two of us. It's like a small house, I could easily have lived there! Very friendly owners. Would I stay there again? 100%

Perfect Family Accommodation This has to be the jewel in the crown for family friendly accommodation. We booked three cottages and each cottage was perfect for each family situation. The cottages were warm and well equipped and in easy walking distance to the main shops. Hosts Carl and Jane were friendly and helpful and Carl even smoked our trout for us after a day fishing. 10/10, we would definitely stay here again.

This is the absolute best place to stay in Arrowtown. So wonderful and the owners are absolutely lovely. This is the absolute best place to stay in Arrowtown. The owners are lovely and it’s not the standard, run the mill, hotel. Lots of extra stuff that makes your trip so much more memorable. It’s very close to the downtown area and in easily walking distance.

Quaint and Quirky Secret Find What a quaint, quirky and quality find this was. Really generous sized room with super comfy bed, and furnished in a sort of period style that reminded me of grandma's house, but it works! Great shower, and there was excellent lighting in the bathroom for makeup, which 2 luxury properties we stayed in previously didn't have! It was excellent! My only negatives would be no full length mirror, and both pillows on the bed were flat.

A must to stay. Great place to stay,and the quaint cottages are beautiful. The owners have gone to a lot of effort and thought to decorate the rooms so fitting,just love the whole ambiance and feel of the place.Helpful and friendly beautiful gardens. clean and the owners are always willing to help if needed Nice and randy to Queenstown and Arrowtown shops an easy walk to shop or for a coffee

Thoroughly relaxing Just realised I forgot to give a review last year . We stayed at Settlers for a few days at the beginning and end of our holiday last year and have stayed at this excellent motel before . It offers a lovely spacious and relaxing place to unwind . There are many homely touches . The owners are friendly, engaging and endeavour to make everyone’s stay thoroughly enjoyable. We are cat lovers so particularly enjoyed the visits of Charlie their cat. We have every intention of staying at Settlers when next in Arrowtown.

Lovely Motel in great location Stayed here with another couple in a two bedroom and two bathroom unit, was great. Very comfortable, clean and tidy and comfortable beds. Easy walk into town, maybe 5 minutes, and great hosts. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.
