Settlers Cottage lived up to its motto of “Old World Charm”. the old fashioned decor was so warm and friendly when many motel rooms seem to focus on being plain and functional. It was a home away from home for us.
Very enjoyable. Hope to come back some time.

Charming Comfortable Convenient
A charming group of cottages; unique in every way. Spacious and comfortable. Private. Host friendly and welcoming. Parking onsite. Warm and cosy. A short stroll into the village. Ours was only a one night stay, returning to Arrowtown at the end of our holiday as it’s only a short drive to Queenstown airport. Arrowtown village is delightful and a must to visit, plus, the food is amazing! Especially the fish and chips at the Fork and Tap and the grilled lemon ginger chicken at the Bendix Stables!

Settlers Cottage is a very very welcoming, comfortable and extremely well appointed place to stay. Jayne is incredibly personable and a delight to meet. Absolutely the ideal hostess. Met the resident cat (one of a pair) who totally made my day all the more perfect, giving great smooches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay … made all the more so by Jayne. Thanks for making us feel so very welcome.
